I have an enormous adult male A. coronatus that I had planned to use in an educational presentation today, but it moulted (which is great) yesterday afternoon All that would be necessary is driving (or walking) the enclosure for about a minute there and back, but I am worried about the safety of the animal in its vulnerable state. I know there are some users here with experience using amblypygids for educational purposes, and this individual is still in it's post-moult blue and white coloration. Would it be safe to bring it in? If not, I can simply use a different species or individual.

For such purposes a Damon or Phrynus whitei would be a more robust choice

Yes, I used a Damon species. The colours and size of Acanthophrynus has always made it my first choice for this sort of thing.
