real live bookworm the animal

[Arachnopuppy]

Years ago, I lived in my professor's house for the summer to watch his stuff for him while he went to teach in England. One night, I was going through his library and read some random stuff. Then I noticed an out of place "I". Looked away, looked back, and it was in another place. I watched carefully and saw it move again.

I swear, this thing looked like a character if it hadn't moved.

Anybody know what animal this was and if it was the origin of the word bookworm?

Might also have been Chelifer cancroides ("house pseudoscorpion"), although it doesn't quite look like an I.

I have found on of those do they look almost like minuture scorpions that walk like a crab?Sorry about jacking your thread.
