Is this spider big enough to safely ship? It's a 5th instar Phidippus audax. I heard that people generally wait until the 5th instar to ship, but I wanted to verify first. Thanks!

Awesome, thanks for replying! They're the smallest kind of pet I own, and I'm wanting them to be as safe as possible. On a related note, what kind of vials should I use to ship them in? Like what size, and where is the best place to get them?

I’ve heard most people use ones like these. (With air holes of course) and put some paper towel in there while shipping.

Or you could order yourself a bunch of slings and then reuse the vials they come in. 😉
Lol true! I need a ton of vials, though... But maybe I wouldn't mind having 200 slings of various different jumping spider species :lol:
