Well...I decided to give those of you who are interested a preview of my art.
I went through a "bug" phase with painting. I`m very happy with the Praying Mantis painting. I entered her in a juried show last year and came out with first prize. I was more thrilled with the fact that an insect won!
The crab spider ( I maybe wrong on this discription) also did well with positive comments from gallery shows when it was shown.
The widow and wolf(?) spider are just for my own personal collection. I`m still not wanting to part with the crab(?) spider and mantis either. I haven`t gotten tired of them like I do with most of my paintings. I think it`s the way I have portrayed them. They`re endearing to me!
I was working on a painting of my B.Smithi, but I don`t like the composition of it and may end up priming over the canvas and just do my spider alone....Starving
