From the recent New Yorker article on Will Wright, creator of SimCity (and soon Spore): "One of Wright's robots ... was called Kitty Puff Puff. It fought its opponents ... by sticking a piece of gauze to its opponent's armature, and then driving in circles around it, until the opposing robot was so cocooned in gauze that it couldn't move."

Hmmm, I wonder what creatures that reminds me of.

I can't wait to get hold of Spore and create an arachnid race. The video of that game is just awe inspiring. It would be great to see how an arachnid based lifeform would develop.
