!!Rattlesnake on craigslist will be set on fire at noon today!!!

Saw an ad on craigs list that said if no one picks up a rattlesnake the tank its in will be set on fire at noon. Didnt know if someone could help this snake out or not.

Here is a copy of the ad.

"I have 6 dogs, the last thing i need is to let this snake free. If you are a perfessional snake handler or you know somebody who will take it for research. Please email me. I will set the tank its in on fire at noon. This isn't a pet. I found it out side my horse stall and captured it so it didnt attack my dogs. "

What a sick person. I wish I lived remotely close to that area. I would drive out there and let the snake free in an unpopulated area. Then I would punch the guy who posted that. Seriously what a jerk.

Yeah really, I dont live around there either, I do have some older family members around there but they couldnt/wouldnt help just too old really, nothing against snakes.

Daytona is 2 hours from me, but I can't afford the gas to drive out there to get it. I would just release it somewhere, anyway.

I have contacted the guy and am arranging something, hopefully. I have a friend with a venomous permit, but if he can't take it, we will release the snake away from people.

Thats great! I dont see why he didnt just call animal control. He may have thought that he would get a better response with that ad.
