I think these fuzzies may be a bit too small, though ;P

Black ratsnake, he was eating this even while being pissed off at me for disturbing him. I think I frightened him, he normally wouldnt be so nervous. He vibrated his tail, musked, AND ate at the same time, LOL.

Yeah, those snakes could definitely consume much larger prey items than a fuzzy.

Whats with the scars on the Everglades?

Well there's a scar on his nose that is healing. It has been there since I got him, I think it's nose rub. The blemish on his side is coloration.

And yeah, I think adult mice would be much more appropriate, lol. Though these guys will eat anything.

Is the 'Glades a wild caught specimen? If so, I'd be willing to bet the "blemishes" are in fact old scars. I've never seen an Everglades Rat with random grey splotches. I have however seen many snakes that have old scars that look just like the ones on the above snake. ;)
