What does it mean when a pink zebra raises its abdomen? Defensive move? Flicking hairs?
Are you saying my wifes new A avic. will try and ... hmm didn't know spiders did that.. Am intrested would like to find out range and accuracy of it... But then again getting killed by wife for annoying her spider and stressing spider doesnt seem like a good idea..Originally posted by Lopez
I've noticed Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens do this too, particularly as spiderlings. As mentioned already, it is a defensive move.
The only tarantulas I have seen spray excrement are the Avicularias and my small Psalmopoeus irminia.
