What I would like to know is what are the smaller rainbow boa subspecies and what lengths do they attain?

I'm not sure. You are looking for a subspecies of rainbow boa, not something like a rosy boa?

Keeping rainbows is not for beginners. They are very hard to keep alive and need considerable knowledge and understanding.

Most speices range from 4' to 9'. But are very hard to keep healthy.
