Huge 'wolf' spider in our storage room. Not sure how it got up there as it's the 2nd story of our house. Quite the surprise!

These give me the chills. I'll take a T, a velvet, a jumper, a whip spider- anything else over these guys! 😵💫

Stunning!!

You would have hated the place we just stayed, they were all over

The biggest one was in the toilet. I went out to the car to get my catch cup to move her outside and never saw her again lol

The shower one, just a sling, had a pile of of carcasses, earning his keep :)

Don’t see a lot of spiders here especially none as big as op spotted, lots of house centepedes though ! https://arachnoboards.com/threads/house-centipede-sighting-🪄.368399/

Found another in my closet. Eeeeep! I about jumped on to the sink. Then decided, what if I catch it and observe it? Maybe then I won't be as scared....

So I did!

She immediately drank and groomed herself for over an hour.

Pretty crazy looking. Hopefully I can keep her happy.

Nice 👍! I love wolf spiders but they don’t live long enough so I’ve only ever had wc ones. I can’t find ones this large here so I leave them alone .

I honestly don't know how long they live. But I know this one doesn't appear full grown. So maybe I'll have 'her' for a good while.

Rabidosa live a couple years on average.
Could Your House Guest be the same one found using the Storage Room earlier?

She already ate!

She is not the one from the storage room. I found that one's body already. Sadly.

Hopefully this meal makes her molt and get rid of any possibilities of being gravid. Now that I don't need 😅

on the bright side, if she does spin an egg sac, they're a really nice color when fresh! like teal or blue

She is cool. Grooming yet again lol

Curious to see how much bigger she gets. Right now she's probably 2.5 dls. At least.
