Well, when my son called me at work & told me Harry had laid down a mat & was on his back, I was'nt that surprised. He had hooked out before I bought him last Summer so I figured his days were numbered. This would be his last molt-but, Mother Nature threw an unepected curve ball. He never made it through the molt.
I found him on his back hours after he flipped & thought well, G.Rosea, he does everything slow. The next morning, no progress. I gave him 48 hours just to be sure__nothing. Long story short, it was just his time.
Here he is on the mat:
In better days:
He was bred two successful times that I know of & we have one of the last slings that is finally up to 1 1/4".
