I do not think that you can over feed in terms that it will explode but there is alot of things that can go wrong. Trouble in molting, falling, and other stuff.

If you want a full arguement about this a search should turn a great results.

I would try to search for
Feeding
Power feeding
Over feeding

ive got an a. geniculta that is just over 2" including legs, and just for kicks i checked to see how many 1/4" crickets it would eat in 24 hours a few days after molt, so far its 6, going to try 7 here in a minute have a little over 30 minutes till 24 hours is up. talk about getting fat... i think this spider can eat its weight in crickets. im just doing this to try and get them into an adult size quicker then cut back. lets go try 7...

I actually dont have a feeding schedule, i just play it by sight. When they look obese, i stop feeding. I have not fed my 2 G. pulchra slings about a month and a half and they still look like they could pop. I think they will just eat and eat because in the wild they could go months and months without food so they take the opportunity to get as much as they can in case they cant later. Thats why they ball up their food. If they took them individually, in the wild, the other 7 crickets could be on their way by the time the first one is devoured. Just use your best judgement on if they are looking too plump.
