Does oz have any "friendly" T's down under? I always wonder since I see so many of the "grrr snarl" types displayed. I always manage to see a happy jolly looking huntsman but never a T. :?

I havent seen any that arent defensive even the captive bred ones are a little bit agro. All the t's i have now are very bitey theres only one that i have handled and it was only because i could no longer bare to see the mite problem get any worse and on that occasion i was bitten lol and this spider that bit me was my slowest t the other ones i really dont know how id get rid of the mites if they ever caught them becuase theres just no handling them buggers there like greased lightning

I just bought 1 liter of hypo's from here http://www.biologicalservices.com.au/hypoaspis.htm

They are in South Australia, $33 OZ dollars (not including postage), mailing to my door in 2-3 days... pay in a month. The hypos will kill all nasty mites :) I had mite probs with my millipedes, while my scorpions dont seem to have any but i'll put some hypos in there just be make sure.
