Hi guys and gals,
I just had a couple questions on breeding P. cancerides. I just had a male shipped in to be bred to my female. He also has another "date" lined up after he finishes doing his business with her (IF he survives)....
I know different species do things differently so I'm wondering how likely he will survive a supervised breeding to make it to the next female? Also, what is actually better for a P. cancerides - Supervised breeding or co-habitation?
One last question, how fresh does his sperm need to be to impregnate a female? His last sperm web was made about 10 days ago. Is that fresh enough or should I wait for him to build another one before putting him in with the female?
