Hi! I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this, my apologies if not.
I’ve recently gotten a pair of young Giant Burrowing Cockroaches and have noticed that they are quite sluggish and don’t appear to move much or dig up from their burrows. I haven’t noticed them eating yet, either. Are they ok?

Additionally, one of them moulted last night. They have a variety of leaves available and their tank is sprayed every day.
Also the substrate is coco-peat and sand, if that helps.
Thank you in advance :)

They don't move like normal roaches, they are clumsy and cannot climb but they should still be somewhat active. If you give them a burrow you may only see them once a year and the burrow has to be just right (an actual burrow, not a collapsing pile of dirt) or you may kill them.

Yeah this species is very slow moving and if they actually have burrows in there they won't come up from them much except at night to feed most likely. They also have rather small appetites for their size, probably due to their slow metabolism.

Mine are pretty active but they are built to live in solid burrows so sometimes they get stuck on their backs or can't climb over a relatively small objects.
