Question about Vinegaroon!

Hey, Im thinking of getting a vinegaroon, What kind of substrate do they like? I know they like to dig! Im guessing they need high humidity and heat too right?? Thank you!

I have two breeding pairs at home, and I keep them only slightly different from the sheet. I keep them at room temp all year, and I only keep them at about 60% humidity. They do love to dig, so as deep of substrate as you can give them, they will burrow all the way to the bottom. They also like big prey, for adults I would not feed anything smaller than adult crickets. They just don't seem to go after small prey. They eat like pigs, so one that looks skinny and does not go right after food, I would not buy. They are great pets, a nice addition to any collection.

Thanx that helps a lot, Good that they like to dig, I got too much peatmoss layin around I can give them as much as they like! Do you think you will be selling some babies if you got breeding pairs??? If yes send me a Private message, i would like a few! Are they aggressive towards each other?? Thanx again for all your help.

Your welcome. I don't have any babies at the moment, the females that I just have mated have started to seal themselves up in their burrow. If I get some babies out of this breeding I will let you know. As for keeping them communal, some people have when small. I don't recommend it though, as eventually they will eat eachother. Keeping thme seperate from the beginning is always safer.

Thank you, if your mate is successfull, please do let me know, I am very interested in getting them young. I think they have them a golden phoenix exotica, but i would rather have them as newborns! thanx again!
