Question about pokies..

I'm relatively new to the hobby(started Nov. '09) and I've had my 2" P. Regalis for a week and a half or so and have fed it three times since buying it. All three times i've noticed this behaviour which I think is cool as hell, when the T senses a cricket near by.. he/she approaches it gets in range to attack then stops, pretends like its going to jump on it but doesn't..(similar to trying to make your friend flinch by acting like you're going to hit them lol) and the T will do this a few times and then will actually attack it, I die laughing while watching it as if the T is playing with it's food. I just wanted to know if anyones experienced anything like this? I own 4 other tarantulas and have seen nothing like it
