Hello all,
My name is Morrigan and I have a fine Pyrophorus noctiluca that showed up in the bathtub of my house two nights ago. I would like to keep it if I can figure out what to feed it.
I have been searching the web every way I could think of and got a lead here when someone was trying to locate some to keep...
Any suggestions that anyone has to take proper care of it would be appreciated. I will be releasing it in the next day or so if I can't get some answers.
I know that click beetles are pretty long lived. I had a 'death watch' that lived in a desert collected walking staff from the early 80's until 2003 when it chewed out of the wood. It was really active a couple of days before it came out and I was able to wrap the staff in plastic and collect it. It was a very ordinary looking click beetle about 3\4 of an inch long. quite an insignificant fellow for all the years of entertainment that walking staff provided...
