Pvc safe for scorpions?

Hello, i am wondering if a piece of pvc plastic pipe is safe to use to make a hide for my scorpion? Normally i have him in a coconut but it has mould starting to form on it atm, thanks!

As long as it has not been treated with any chemicals or pesticides I’d say yes.

I use plastic plant pots cut in half for some of my hides- don’t know whether it’s a similar type of plastic.

It's just a half tube from a plastic shelf leg haha, but yeah it will be similar material and i'm sure it has not been treated, i would like to avoid using it but this coconut has grown mould 3 times now and it is the only thing in the enclosure that grows it
