Is this type of lighting harmful to my ivory millipedes? I wanted to get a light for the live plants in the vivarium, as it’s located in a dark corner of my room. If it is harmful, what is an alternative that will be good for both the plants and pedes?

🤔 what is the UV spectrum? If it's the same spectrum as sunlight I can't imagine it would be inherently harmful.

Other than if that color is something that the millipedes can't see they may not realize the light is on and may not go underground when they normally would.

For example my Narceus go underground every single time they see a light they're very shy.

If the millis can't see the light maybe they'll get "sunburned"?

Course fix for this would be just include a white light that they can see as well. And turn them on at the same time.🤷🏻‍♀️
Assuming the spectrum is safe.

I’m not sure what the spectrum is, but I did end up returning it because the purple lights gave me a headache whenever they were on. I swapped it out with a white full spectrum grow light that looks like sunlight which looks a lot better and less headache inducing lol. Thank you for your reply though.
