got my deposit return from my old apartment yesterday... so, just like a tax return, its like free money... went out as soon as the g/f got home and blew all but $25 of it...

they're all about 6 weeks old. We're concerned about the dark one. His eyes closed all the time, and he's a good bit smaller than the rest. We're hoping just a lil behind the rest and still needing a bit more time and he'll come around. He hung onto my thumb rather well and has been moving and eating... time will tell...

He has been separated from the others, given a lil soak and has done a good amount of drinking. When I get home i'll be counting the number of crickets in his tank and see how many (if any) he's eaten. We have a vet appointment with the best herp vet in town scheduled for wednesday, and can take him in on emergency tomorrow if we feel its necessary. The pet shop is paying the bill...

Very nice. I'd just keep an eye on the group. Baby and juvie beardies can be real sharks. They have been known to kill their cagemates. I would defintely not keep the smaller one with the others.
Good luck with them,
Mike

Also baby beardies will nip at tails and toes of thier cage mates. If at all possible keep them all separated. I miss mine.... :(

The dark one is pretty.. let's hope he does better.. I'm caring for some hatchlings at the store.. and I hope to have my own, provided my male ever gets to mating.. if not, then I have my sandfire male who I know for a fact will breed in a heartbeat.. I just sorely wanted german giant genetics..

I would really watch the dark one. We bred several and when it comes to babies you don't want them "on the dark side." I hope he does well for you , and good luck on the others too. Have you got the dark one under good heat?

friday night we got him on his own, under a good lamp
got him drinking
and ate a couple crickets

Saturday morning i got up and he was looking good
eyes open
color had lightened up to more appropriate tones

20 minutes later he was gone
:(

Petshop refunded

Hate to hear it. It's rare they turn around. Glad you got a refund.
