My female smithi sling, pumpkin, is gonna molt soon!

Last night I checked on her and noticed her abdomen had turned black. It's weird, the day before her abdomen was tan and suddenly it's black.

I'm excited because this is my first T and this is the first time it will molt in my care. :D

Woot! Take some pics if you can!
I wasn't able to get any pics of her molting, she waited untill I went to bed. :(
I might be able to post some before and after pics though.

I have a question.

My smithi went from 2in to 2.5in this last molt, and I was wondering when I can start feeding her again, after her molt her abdomen is really small and I feel sorry for her.

Anyone?

I have heard you can feed them in a week but I'm not sure if that goes for 2in slings or not, thanks.

Once her body hardens and her fangs turn black, she should be ready to eat again. I am also new to the hobby, but i THINK i read that slings harden up faster than adults, and are ready for food within a couple of days.

Thanks, I will try feeding her tomorow, then it will be five days after her molt. :)
