Pseudhapalopus sp. Colombia question and experiences

Hey guys! I'm thinking about ordering some more Ts and this one has caught my attention. However I've been doing some research and the results are a bit conflicting. Some places say that they are true dwarves, only reaching 2-3 inches in size, and other places say that they are actually bigger than other species in the genus and may get up to 5 inches. Does anyone have any adults of this species, and if so, how big are they?

And while we're on the subject, what are they like to keep?

They are easy to keep, at least mine is. Decent eaters for the genus, slow growing. I've seen the same size range as you.

Definitely bigger than 3 inch as adults.Mine are only juveniles and hitting 3 inch atm.
Very slow growing and microscopic as 1st instar slings.Easy to keep.As slings some moisture in substrate but not swampy and once they show adult colours you can keep them dry with occasional overflowing of the waterdish to moisten a corner.

I'm about to pull the trigger on one of these. I saw comments in another thread where Viper mentioned that they may be considered the slowest growing genus out there. I see both of you here saying "slow growing". Now that you've had them for a bit, how are you finding the growth? Are we talking 8 years to reach an inch, or something more moderate like other slow growing species?

I'd be starting at just over a 1/2" I believe.

you are looking at 2 inch size in about 2 years at temperature between 20-30 °C (20 winter and 25-30 summer around me)if you don't give them too big enclosures and don't allow them to burrow too deep so they can find their food easy.
1/2 inch is good size sling mine were 5- 6 mm when they came.lol

I appreciate it. My order is in, so I'll post reports occasionally on how they're doing. It doesn't seem like many people are raising these ("many" being relative to other species).
