Successful?
Fingers Crossed. ;)

Any special care or preliminary notes for the lovers
Female was approx. 1.5 months post-molt. Female well-fed prior to introducing male.

How they were paired
Male placed in female's enclosure (5 gallon aquarium). Female lives in smaller jar within main enclosure. Male immediately began drumming and female responded. They were seen mating once or twice, then the male was left to cohabitate with the female. No aggression noted from female.

Any observations on the hookup
Female very receptive. Female approx. 4" DLS.

Any special post mating care
Female being well-fed. Male continues to cohabitate with female.

Time to sac
N/A

Care of the sac
N/A

Time to emerge/hatch
N/A

The final details
Male will be allowed to cohabitate with female for awhile longer, possibly until any changes are noticed (sac laying, etc.).

Unsuccessful

My computer crashed, but I'm going to try and reconstruct what happened to the best of my abilities.

I bred my male to my female, with an eggsac being laid around 02/26/07. The sac was pulled on 03/11/07, but all eggs black and stuck together. Possible humidity problem? She was kept in the gravid mamas room with temps at 80 during the day and 78 at night, and humidity locked on 65%.

Date of Mating:
September 15th, 2009

Conditions:
nothing special - just put them together, tank was rather dry. Mating took place immediately.

Date of egg sac:
November 8th, 2009
(app. 54 days?)

Date of pulling egg sac:
November 23rd (Day 15)- all eggs were un-hatched at this point.

Date of Eggs-With-Legs:
November 26th (Day 18)

Date of molting to 1st instar:
December 2nd (Day 25)

I was very surprised at the length of time it took to molt from eggs-with-legs to 1st instar. The nymphs did not turn dark like most other species do before they molt.

Approximately 100 have survived to 1st instar stage.

Got a MM from advan. This was back in late Feb/early March..Paired 3 times with 2 different females..
Sack found with female #1 on March 16th,18 days after the first pairing.Sack pulled on April 1st,and were EWL's on April 9th
Female #2 dropped her sack on April 13th. It was pulled May 1st. ..125+ 1st instars as of May 10th....
Female #1's offspring started to molt to 2i on May 10th also. There are 80 total, with half or more having twisted and deformed legs.A molt or two should clear this issue up. I think our incubator is not maintaining proper humidity. The rest appear to be normal, healthy offspring....
We re-paired both females and are feeding them more heavily than usual. really hoping for another sack from at least one of the girls,as there are a personal favorite. One thing I did notice about the offspring is that they are quite large. Some are almost an inch.........

138 huge 2i from female #2 as of 6/1...........Female#1 molted out 5/28 as well.

Success!

Female molted in 9-13
Male matured 8-13

I paired them on 10-19-13
Here's the weird part. Eggasac found on 10-23-13
I pulled the sac on 11-9-13 and nearly all were EWL
11-20-13 they were all 1i
12-8-13 - 12-10-13 they all molted to 2i
final count of 90 live and healthy 2i 2 bad eggs

Unfortunately I don't have pics of the actual pairing as they were very shy.
