i was just wondering...
do roaches (in my case, i have lateralis) eat whey protein powder?
and is it good/bad for them?
i was just considering possible ways of supplementing their protein intake,
and thinking of stuff that i have at home, and which wouldn't smell bad...

thanks! :D

mmm... they're already eating dog food, so this would be a supplementary.. and i buy my whey protein in 10 lbs buckets, so i could spare a few scoops a week!
i was just wondering if there's anything in it bad for them, like the artificial sweetener or preservatives or whatnot?

thanks! :D

I consume whey protein and it is fairly pricey so I personally wouldn't use it for roaches. There are many other less expensive protein alternatives (e.g., fish meal/flakes). I recommend the roach diet from cricketfood.com.

I've got a bunch of sports type protein supplements left over from when my wife had stomach surgery and couldn't eat solid foods. I also would like to know if anyone thinks that this would be bad for my discoids.

You two should just set some of your breeders aside and quasi-experiment with it. If it works, let us know.
