Hello everyone.

I bred a dozen wax worms a while back and now have a jar of about 400. A lot of them have grown up and have webbed themselves into a tiny nest around them and I guess they are getting ready to pupate.

The problem is that my bedding has begun to mold. What should I do? Should I remove the remaining waxworms and leave the ones that have stuck themselves to the side of the jar?

Yes. When the ones stuck to the side have pupated you can then carefully scrape them off and gently place them in the clean container, where they will still emerge as moths. FYI some fruit fly companies have anti-mold agents that you can buy to add to the waxworm media which will prevent molding and is safe for waxworm use as well.
