I'm in love with each and every one of 'em! Enjoy the pics...even the cruddy, blurry ones.

First are my pair of Blizzards, brother and sister.

Here's my Butter phase. Snakes are much more difficult to get pics than T's I think. These'll do for now I hope. btw, this one's got a nice hide so don't worry. I took it out to photograph.

Here's my Striped Corn. I have to get better pics of this one if it even chills out. I'm forever blown away by the gold and bronze.

This is a HUGE snow I rescued/adopted last weekend. The owner said she's had her over 7 years and no longer has time for her. I con't understand how not. Crazy people huh?
Anyhow, she's got some unshed areas that we're already making good progress on. There's a bit of crud under the old skin patches too (3rd pic down) but that's looking better than in the pics already too. After she's good and acclimated I'll just go ahead and remove what's left in one go.
She's a total sweetheart though. The last pic is her new home completed.

This one's another rescue/adoption from the same person. No obvious signs of neglect but I'm keeping a close eye of course.
This one's a Florida King. I was hypnotized by the color and pattern. Looks like chainmail armor. It's in blue too so I'm very anxious to see it after it sheds. I'll probably pass out in amazement. :wall:
Last 2 pics are her home and her chilling in the new hide.

Last is my Leucistic Tx. Rat. Pretty calm most of the time for a Rat snake but it has it's grouchy moments. I'm doing my best to handle it as often as possible for the best chance of having a very calm adult when it grows up.

That's all for now. Take care. :)

Thanks! :)
For the little ones, 5 and 10 gallon aquariums. The tanks are very cheap at that size but somehow skyrocket to insulting prices from there up it seems. In light of that, the larger ones are in Sterilite tubs with latch-locking lids. They're the 70 and 90 quart size. The 70 qt. is 14" high, 26" long and 16" front to back. The 90 qt. is 14" high, 33 long and 20" f to b.
The Amel is in a "65 gallon", mesh screen reptarium.

Take care.

Have you experienced any problems with keeping up the humidity during ecdysis with the Amel in the mesh cage?

Despite the very dry Colorado climate, no problems at all. He always sheds in one nice piece. As you can see though, he's got lots of room to soak plus I have a heat source near the water to keep humidity up. Seems to be working pretty well.

Take care. :)

Hey, thank you! :) I'm in love with that one too. She shed for me over the weekend. :D So I'm going to feed her up today and get some fresh pics after a few days. I'd love to see yours if you get some pics soon.

Take care.

Beautiful snakes.

I got given a cali king and two corns; one largish almenistic and one medium sized 'normal' phase by someone who was moving more towards birds and was worried he might not pay enough attention to them. I've wanted a snake for years so obviously I jumped at the chance. The novelty of watching them eat is still strong.

The king was very active for the first fortnight, but seems to have settled now. The big corn shed on the night I got her which was pretty cool, I managed to unroll the whole thing and measure it and she came in at a little over fifty inches.

So got any tips for a newbie?
