By Costa Rican Zebra you mean A. seemani.

I have seen them in the $50 - $70 range in the past. CDN

Um, I think you are referencing an Aphonopelma seemani?

Seeing as it is a female, adult, and breedable, I think that would be worth about $60-70.

Well, then! Congrats! That is a really good deal. Usually I find babies for that price, so getting an adult female is really really really good! :)

Large healthy females command a higher dollar.

And anyone who took the time to raise a sling to this size (myself included) would not let a big girl go for $30. It took mine about 5-6 years from a 1" sling to reach 5".

I dont think you can really set a price like that for an A. seemani. Its easy to say oh shes a female and this large so ill set the price there but I dont think you would get even $55 for her. So you need to first take in to consideration how much she is worth to you then you have to figure out how much she is worth to others for me A. seemani would not be worth that price because of the following:
1. at 6" I have to ask how much longer will she live
2. I feel if I wanted to do any breeding id rather catch a T at 4" because I would have longer to breed her and you can start doing so around 4" or so
3. A. seemani is a common species and its common to see them priced at $20 at around 4" plus at the local pet stores in my area.

True, they are one of the lesser valued species, but still an attractive addition to any collection regardless of price.

just giving my honest opinion I think if you tried to sell her on the boards for $70 you would have several bumps over a few days and begin to reduce the price tell she was about $50 and then maybe you would get a hit

Tarantulas are not a liquid enough market to have a well-established price. What you pay depends heavily on where you get it and when. There is almost, kind of, sort of, a market in the for sale section on arachnoboards. Looking over past entries is the best way to get a feel for prices. As for pet stores, anywhere between 0 and waaay too much is fair game.

Also in the language of other markets, there's a large bid ask spread.
