Preventing Balfouri baby escapes

Got an egg sac with mom right now. I usually take egg sacs out but heard balfouris do better with mom. The vent holes seem too big for slings to not escape from. Thinking of sticking mesh on top of the vent holes. Any tips?

If you cant get pantyhose, thrift stores have plenty of fine mesh clothing.

or just regular door screen mesh can do it.
Whatever you have on hand.
