I kept a few skeleton tarantulas over the past two years and I ended up with two males . I bought an adult female about a year ago to pair up with the two males. I introduced them into the enclosures never really saw any drumming or mating behavior. Over the past few months the female had gotten real sluggish and she began to fast. Well today I found her in a death curl. She was one of my favorite spiders because of her huge massive impressive size. I want to get more skeletons and start over someday. I am not giving up on breeding this species.

I feel the same way. I recently lost an AF P. chordatus that I was planning to breed to dyskinetic syndrome.
Guess what?
After she died, I looked at the classified and see a fresh MM for sale.

Sucks.

Man, talk about your bad karma.

I really hope you get a female before your two males time runs out.
