more pics

a crappy shot of an adult female Myrmekiaphila fluviatilis. I have to dig her out and move her to a new container so hopefully I'll get some better shots of this beautiful species.

Here is a fun shot of one of my Antrodiaetus unicolor burrows.

A.unicolor (or A.microunicolor...)

here is a better shot of an Ummidia trapdoor. Not so much glare this time 8)

do you "specialize" in trapdoors?

Some of those seem local to the U.S... do you collect?

i've been looking for Bothriocyrtum californicums every time i go hunting... no success yet ;)

Thanks for the compliments Caco. Yes, I am particularily fond of trapdoors and pursewebs {D . All of the trapdoors that I have are native to the eastern US and have all been collected in southern Illinois and western Kentucky. They are a pain in the butt to locate, but once you start to recognize good habitat it gets a lot easier. I wish we had the mygal diversity of Socal over here! I keep on dreaming of taking a trip out there and collecting. I would love to collect and photograph some of the Euagrus species. Good luck finding your Bothriocyrtum californicums, just keep you eyes peeled!
