Predatory katydids Saginae

So I've been fascinated with these guys for awhile. They look like serious predators, I am curious why I haven't seen much about them on here. I think these could be amazing animals to study potentially. In this pic we have one eating a gecko 4in0im4qjlg41.jpg

Was looking at those too. Trying to find out of the ordinary(assassin bugs and so on) carnivores insects.

Various species of Saga are kept primarily by European and Asian enthusiasts (which explains why you don't hear about them very often, as the majority of users here are North Americans). They are interesting but the eggs of a few species need diapauses apparently which throws a wrench into casual captive breeding efforts (which are usually what you hear about).
