Praying mantid

Hello everybody , I am interested in keeping a praying mantid. I have no experience in keeping them so I come here for some advise

What is " the type" for a beginner ? And does anybody know a good site for basic setup and care ?

And if there are any dutch people on this forum.....where can I buy one in the Netherlands :? :?

get a sphrodomantis, or heirodula species, these guys are all pretty easy to keep and are vey tough and big.

I'll second that, A Sphodromantis("African green") makes a perfect first pet mantis.
