This thread is for the jewel of your collection, your one (or two) absolute favorite tarantulas that you just could not live without.

Doesn't matter if it's a pamphobeteus or a rosea, doesn't matter if it's a male or a female; as long as it's your baby, post it here.

As for me, my pride and joy is a ~six inch female psalmopoeus cambridgei.

Ugly pictures, not an ugly tarantula.

My favorite has to be my 20 years old G.pulchra (20 years with me, I guess she may be 23/25 years old).

with almost 300 spiders its hard to just have one favorite...

but if I have to just pic one genus (wich is MUCH easier than picking a spider) it have to be Haplopelma sp.

Haplopelma lividum

Favorite??

Which day are we talking here?

It's just so hard to pic just one fav - but I'll take a shot at it! As of late, I have been really into my Brachy's, for no particular reason. Here is the sweetest little girl, B. smithi. She sat on my hand just like this last night as I worked one-handed typing on the keyboard for a solid hour - didn't move.

If I had to pic just one it would be my 4" female GBB. Not the best pic.

Well, being a collector of only Haplopelma spp I think I will have to answer H.schmidti or H.lividum...so I'll add pictures of both my babies...juveniles only though.

But the H.hainanum I keep is a monster, never seen something so aggressive...a true beauty and I will really miss her if she dies.
