Possible Sling molt?

Hi all, my 1 inch G.pulchra sling's normally good appetite has deminished, it wont eat anything...and also it is turned a generally darker color over all. Its legs which used to be almost clear have blackened up. When should i expect a molt? How much bigger will it probabaly get? ive never had a sling before let alone one molt under my care

Hey Bjorgly,
This is the only time I've been able to say this! Everyone ready?! I've come far in the Tarantula world my friends. Here we go:
In my experience (I've never said that before) I'd say give it a week to two weeks. Peso denied food a week and a half before he moulted. since the moult he's been eating like crazy.

Thanks Paul, maybe ill stop feeding for a week or so and if still no molt ill try feed again

Im sure a molt is immanent, dont feed it. Or if you do, keep a close eye on her.

Mine stopped eating for 10 days before molt. Also, it got pretty sluggish. I wouldn't even try to feed it anymore before it molts.

I'd say it'll get 25 to 30% bigger.
