Had to move a couple of Pokies.

P metallica (F)
She recently molted, and as soon as she was taking down crix again, It was time to go into bigger digs. She was sweet as pie to move.

I changed the screen on these lids from plastic to aluminum. I had small slings chew through, so I upgraded the hardware.

After a lil wrangling she went straight to the bottom. I got pretty angry, as soon as I filled her water dish she went into it head first, and my batteries died:mad:

Peek-a-boo P regalis (M), I have a recently molted gal just waiting for this boy to mature

After removing all the stuff in there, here he is. He was a lil more spastic, but went with lil fang-fare as well:} .

Again batteries died, and I'll have to wait to post a pic of him in new digs.
He too went straight to drink, but not as long as my P metallica.

I have to move two P cambridgei, but they are ALOT more feisty than these guys, will move tomorrow, watching Yankees in the post season now{D
Enjoy.

you have had slings "chew" though the lids!!!!
Through the plastic screen mesh in the center of the lids so I changed to aluminum.

Its the same mesh I use on sling enclosures, and yes slings have chewed through these lids, I found a A purpurea on my ceiling one night and a nice hole in his screen lid.

I've had the same thing happen to me, only I found out it wasn't the slings doing it but the small crickets I put in and left overnight. Thankfully none of my slings escaped. :)
