Cool pic. :clap: I've GOT TO get some more defensive species!

It almost looks like it was smeared with petroleum jelly. :?

That's your OBT right?

Oh yep it was indeed; in my attempt to rid it of the annoying mites. However I just found that apparently two of the mites survived the petroleum jelly treatment. Therefore I'm going to try using a blunt stick dipped in saline solution to get the mites off. If that doesn't work, I may have to resort to dunking the spider in the liquid. I will do anything to rid the spider of the mites. I couldn't care less if they were the usual grain mites, but these ones are parasitic and can/will kill, as you well know. Thanks for the compliment btw.

Nice shot!
You should look around outside, I'm sure you could find some sort of isopod.

Thanks Rick. :) I did, and I found a few, but they couldn't survive in my OBT's tank because it was too dry. Anyway I got this - minor - mite problem because of something stupid I did, not because of a lack of clean-up crew. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

That's a great pic! :}
Thank you! :)
