What are the cultural requirements of P. striata. Are they as hardy as regalis, or are the extremely delicate?

Well, the search function came up with NOTHING relevant to the subject. So, that is why this I posted this thread. I am fully aware of the search button and it's capabilities. So, I would like to know how to care for a P. striata.
Thanks in advance, Tim Lochala

I keep mine fairly dry, I find some times when i keep pokies to wet, they will just die on me.

Pretty much the same requirements as a regalis

I keep mine very dry also, pretty much just like a regalis the only real difference is to orange setae hairs it has on its legs and abdomen, also you can't go wrong ordering from Chris, I think about 80% of my collection I have bought from him, I think he only has 1 or 2 of the striata's left so better hurry if you want one. Peniocerus is a genus of cactus. We have them out here, they look like a pile of sticks and have these nice flowers at night.

Well, I want to thank everyone who has provided the useful info. I better get on the ball and order my critter before it gets too cold again. :)

I like Opuntias, they can get really huge over here and are nice barrier fences. Echinocereus pachanoi makes me feel good, too. {D ;)
