i wild caught this little one about a month ago in my parents' bathroom
it was in the middle of blizzard weather so i couldnt bear to throw them outside to for sure freeze and die :[ so i made a little enclosure from materials gotten at a local pet store. ive already known for a while various facts and such about keeping spiders since ive always dreamed of owning a tarantula or jumper and hyperfixated a lot as a teen on learning proper care
ive given them small mealworms every week or so but their abdomen seems to be growing very large and now im wondering what the gender actually is ?? thought originally that they were male but the growing abdomen size is making me wonder if theyre gravid, alongside the fact they tore down one of their web hammocks and rebuilt it much bigger and thicker. if someone knows for sure id love to get confirmation if it looks like theyre actually female and i can prepare deli cups for spiderlings
(last two pics were the first day i put them into the enclosure, they were very skinny then but im not sure if a belly pic will help with IDing)
