This is the T I told you about... He called it a Pink Toe... Let me know if you know exactly what it is or what picture to take to show you...

well its definately an avic of some kind, most likely a pink toe but it could be a geroldi with those colors. Hard to tell from a picture to be sure.

Look like Avicularia avicularia to me, which is the tarantula most frequently called a pink toe.

It's an Avicularia, probably WC from the Guyana region... no one can say more than that, despite what you may hear.

I looked up the Avicularia avicularia and it looks like that... so it may just be a Avicularia avicularia

For those who say "A. avicularia", what is the criteria for this? Please explain how you can tell, I'd love to know!

haha eric.. :)

people, eric is right. there's no way of knowing. it looks like Avic avic, but there's no real way of knowing.

personally, i'd just label it Avicularia sp guayana and leave it. i wouldn't breed it either, but that again is just me.

thx,

Hi Bliss..

Well, I dont plan on ever breeding it... I just like the color it has... I cant wait to see what happens as it gets older... In the event the Pinktoe and i become BFF's... she might just turn out to be my School Presentation to the kids... but that all depends on the personality that comes out.. so for now... it be easier to call it an avic... in general.
