I found these in my basement, they are eally tiny and move fast as heck.

I tried to feed them to my baby jumpers but the jumpers cant catch them lol

I have no idea what they are, mites?

That almost looks like a tick but I don't think ticks are known for being fast...

I'm pretty sure they aren't ticks... eiher some type of mite or aphid? I live above a bait shop and in the basement where they keep the nightcrawler bins is where I found them.. millions of them in the bins of dirt and crawlers. I will try to get a better pic of them

not a tick or a roach. does not appear to be a mite as a mite should have 4 pairs of legs, i only see 3.

chigger perhaps? tiny, 6-legs, reddish in color, fast, and found in a dark damp place?? not sure though.

Looks like soil mites. I know what u mean about speed. When it comes down to size to space ratio, I think a pokie would be envious.

Check out the tiny pseudoscorpions. They're cute. :p

It looks like a type of soil mite, but definately a harmless mite.
