I made a very dumb decision to take my milipede out of its enclosure at a skatepark. We just got her and I was super excited. I was holding her and she slipped and fell onto the concrete. She cracked a small part of the top of her head and her backend. Quite a bit of fluids came out of her backend but barely any on top. She's still moving an hour later, but not anywhere near as active as she was. Her entire backend isn't moved at all. She moved her body completely around but then stopped. I looked up the best thing to do for her and it said to give her water and food. So I gave her some, is there anything else I can do for her? Or maybe encourage her molting? Please help for any ideas I'm really scared.

Concrete fall would be fatal to many inverts. Like I said, in the other Millipede post handle over a bed or a pillow🥲..

Concrete + moisture loss being exposed to the outdoor elements.

Perhaps it will make it.

It could die too. Such a shame.

i don’t know if you have the option to change your thread title. I would. Maybe something like, millipede fell on concrete. That way people who use the search bar might find it better.

Unfortunately there's nothing you can do... The best way to support your pede now is to give it plenty of food and water, and hope it goes into a molt and survives. Definitely avoid handling from now on, your millipede could still be fragile or injured, and I would wait at least a few months before picking them up again
