Hi
I am completely new to this forum, however was hoping someone would be able to help me identify a spider.
Unfortunately I don't have a photo, I was discussing it with my boyfriend, joking about saying that I once discovered a new species, and since then he has been searching the web trying to identify it.
I was in South Africa 4 years ago; I was camping in the middle of untouched woodland in the very north east corner very close to the Kruger Park.
I found a spider walking along the ground which I have attempted to draw in the attachement (apologies for the basicness of it!). It was literally only about 0.5cm large (smaller than the picture), however had a square back (exactly like the attachment), red with white spots (or possibly white with red spots - it was a long time ago
)
Does anyone know of anything like this?
Many thanks
Nicola
