Checked on my spiderling right before bed last night. It was on the top of the container upside down. This morning I found it on its back on the bottom. Does this species molt by hanging upside-down or just laying on their backs?

Has it moved at all since you last saw it?

I'm not personally experienced with this species, but doesn't this type of spider molt in a web, or flower, not on the ground?

I confirmed that it definately hangs to molt. Unfortunately it fell down in the process so it died. I attached a scouring pad with hot glue to the top of the plastic containers so that my hang molting true spiders can secure their drag lines better. I had leaves and branches it could have used but it picked the slick plastic. I'm not taking any chances with my davidbowie either. It might seem a silly precaution but I've seen this happen before.

That's a shame. That is quite a rare and beautiful species

Definitely not silly. Any necessary precautions is just... necessary

I've seen people glue similar items to their enclosures before. It works for it's intended purpose.
