suggest you use search function to read up on how to set up a proper cage for your new pet it needs a good chunk of cork tube or flat instead of those sticks you have in there. also needs alot more fake plant cover up top. dont worry you will get alot more advice as the day goes on

Your tank looks a little big for your T. As already mentioned, one or more cork bark flats should be used rather than sticks. The cork bark flat, should be large enough to reach near the top of the enclosure, with space under it for the T to hide. You also want holes in the sides for cross ventilation, which is very important for Avicularia species. There are a lot of good husbandry videos online, that will show how to properly set up an enclosure, just make sure to cross check your info. as there is also a lot of bad info. out there.

Thank y’all! With the tank it’s in I’m not sure how to get cross ventilation. What is a better size for its enclosure? It’s currently in a 19.1"L x 16.6"W x 22.4"H. I have seen some much smaller ones 4x4x8” with holes on the side. But when doing my research previously read that was way to small. From what I learned a 12x12x18 should be the smallest.
many recommendations on where to get cork bark that isn’t super expensive or small?

Your local pet store would be the best place to get cork bark.

For cross ventilation, depending on the enclosure you choose (if its plastic), you can melt holes in the sides, using either a wood burning tool (what I do), or I have heard of people who heat nails in the stove and melt the plastic that way. If you do melt holes in the sides do it outside, or in a well ventilated space, as it will smell pretty bad

Not sure where you read this, most arboreals are fine in a exo terra nano tall (8"x8"x12") or equivalent, you don't need a 12"x12"x18" for any arboreal that maxes out at under 6"

red is fine- used to use it myself till I realized blue moonlight, like used with my reptiles was easier to see Ts.
Human animals can’t see into the red spectrum as well as the blue spectrum
