not sure whats up, got it about 4 months ago and it seems to be doing ok (active, clings to sides) and it attacks prey (have given it crickets and mealworms). it is a juvenile, not sure what sex, maybe 1/3 to 1/2 its adult size. its abdomen is skinny, which i know isnt too unusual for arboreals. so the thing is it attacks prey, bites it, then spazzes out and releases it and doesnt eat it half the time. no threat posture and is for sure a take down it just doesnt finish the job

whats up, should i give it something else? or is this standard? it has eaten before but 9/10 times it just attacks the prey then i assume come back for it later.

Could be a lot of things but sounds like it could be a sucking stomach issue.

Pics of spider and enclosure would be helpful.

Nobody is going to be able to even take an educated guess without photos. Very often people think their arboreal species are skinny, but they are not designed to have abdomens the same size as your heavy bodied terrestrials. So the first thing that has to be determined is if the spider really is underweight.
Please include photos of the spider and the enclosure.
