Whats the best way to put holes in a plastic pill vial? I dont mean the soft covers but the actual container thats hard plastic. It seems to me like if I try to press a needle or something through it might crack?

I heat up a smal drill bit and had turn it. It wears down your fingers after so many vials in one sitting but it's better than using a drill. I also have a dremel handy with really small bits when I need to make holes small enough for those really small critters.

I dont really have a drill. What about heating up a needle and pushing it through? Using an oven burner to heat it maybe.

when i need to melt really tiny holes for a T enclosure i use a straightened paper clip and heat one end so its super hot using a candle.

works pretty well i just let the container air out for a bit as i don't think the T's would like the the fumes from melted plastic

Yup, I use a heated needle if the container is too small for a drill too

go to micheals or any craft store. buy a cheap soldering iron. and the smallest thinest atatchment u can *for slings anyway*.. or bigger normal size for bigger slings..

then just melt a hole. i do this for all my enclosures and i have never had a problem. also good thing with melting is generally u get smooth surfaces. no sharp edges that drilling can leave.

i use soldering irons the tips are perfect for pokeing holes into containers as long as you only use the tip and dont push it all the way in or the sling will escape or what ever your using it for
