Forgive my stupid question BUT, what species is that? (obviously a dwarf/small species, but which?)

Best of luck with the female and an egg sack and BABIES :)

a smal brown jobby from Argentine with a name longer than the spider itself:
Oligoxystre sp. (auratus?)

Nice Eddy... I'm still hoping my O. auratum I have mated will drop a sac.

From the looks of it, she's not nearly as large as your female... but my male matured and no one else in the States had a female... so gotta try. My male is still doing well, so if she molts I should be able to give it another go.

Eddy,

Do you happen to know if the slings which came into the U.S. were from that females last eggsac?

I'd be interested in reading the breeding report, could you email it to me?

yes, i do know :)
no, none of them went to the US.

the previous owner got this fem in 2002 (as a juv). bought from former ERATO. (erato bred them in 1997. i know they exported ... could be they send them out.)
end 2003 he mated it. continued till march 2004. july 2004 sac was mad. this sac was bad. within weeks a secon sac was made. inside 14 nimfs. 13 molted into spiderling. he kept all for future breeding. all that are left from those i got. the original fem (the one in the pic) 2 adult males (there were 3, 1 died)
and 5 subadult/ young adults unsexed.
