stupidly i have a new pet pigeon,

i took this guy from a friend who got it from someone else etc etc

im told its a homing pigeon, that no longer does its job due to having lost its main flight feathers on its right wing in a an accident

all i want to know is if there is anyway to tame this thing down, as at the moment it is scared to hell of anything, and is getting pretty stressed.

its about 6-8 and has apparently always been like this

Thats why hes been going from home to home lol.

I've raised a few, the males always get alittle ornery when they mature.

You might want to try wrapping him in a towel with his head out, and just sit with him and watch the telly or something. Feed him well and hopefully he will calm down.

If he doesn't ,then 350 in the oven with carrots and potatoes,onions and he should be good to go in an hour or so ,just kidding of course
