first up Oligoxystre sp female looking very pomising! she allready build a turrent to make a cocon in... fingers crossed!!

G. rosea RCF finally have a adult male!
here are the first 2 females being mated, 3 more to go!

Nice pics!

I did have a hobby "C. fasciatum" male mature at barely 2"... certainly no larger than your M. zebratum male.

Some of the females from certain hobby "fasciatum" strains do stay pretty small as well... I'd be surprised if some weren't comparable to the size of your M. zebratum.

Best of luck with the Oligoxstyre... my female still hasn't done anything. If she's not going to produce a sac, I wish she'd just molt already!

Eric that maybe, but only maybe i have to say knowing the odd sizes fem's can drop sac's at, because of the old blood of the Costa Rican stock is still washing in them as they were smaller.

I had a D.fas female from a C/B juv in 91-92 (could have been a bit earler) drop a phantom sac at 1.5 inch across leg III (don't ask i used to think that was the right way back then :rolleyes:) i never saw really large one's until the south mex imports came in, be they the same sp or not.
